Why we exist
New Mexico's Elizabeth Whitefield End-of-Life Options Act gives terminally ill adults a legal, dignified choice about how their final chapter unfolds. But knowing the law exists and actually walking the path are two very different things. Willing clinicians can be hard to find. The paperwork, the pharmacy, the timing, the conversations with family — all of it lands on people at the hardest moment of their lives.
Luminaria exists to carry that weight. We are a care-coordination service: we connect qualified New Mexico clinicians with the patients who need them, handle the practical steps, and stay present for the human ones. We are not a hospice and not a pharmacy — we are the steady hand that helps everything else fit together.
