What Medicaid and insurance cover
New Mexico Medicaid covers the aid-in-dying medication itself, and the underlying medical visits and hospice care are often covered by Medicaid or insurance. That means for many New Mexicans, the medicine can cost little or nothing. Our fee pays for the coordination, speed, and human presence around it.
Sliding scale & hardship fund
We offer income-based pricing and a hardship fund so that a qualified person is never turned away for lack of money. If cost is a worry, tell us on the first call — we'll find a way forward together.
